John’s Story follows one patient’s honest struggle with type-2 diabetes from denial and hidden chocolate wrappers to a renewed sense of control and health-enablement, driven by family support, positive lifestyle change.

Diagnosed with heart failure and given months to live, Sunil’s journey defied prognosis and expectations and helped highlight the need for new perspectives and care pathways. In Fighting Failure, his lived experience was captured and developed into a content series for Novartis that helped reshape perceptions of heart failure - from clinical fatalism to proactive engagement and care redesign.

Fixing Dad began as a personal story of how two sons helped their dad to engage with his health, and ultimately to reverse type 2 diabetes and put his cancer into remission. What started as a short video to help attract key stakeholders led to a BBC documentary that helped one family and the film’s sponsor, Prudential, to inspire patients and healthcare professionals, support policy change, and generate millions of pounds-worth of free, earned media.
